Eduardo Punset

Eduardo Punset is a lawyer and economist and played an important role in opening up Spain to the outside as Minister of Relations for the European Communities. He participated in establishing Spain’s autonomous communities as Secretary of Finances of the Autonomous Government, and as president of the delegation of the European Parliament for Poland, he supervised part of the process of economic transformation of the Eastern European countries after the Iron Curtain fell. He has also worked as a journalist for The Economist and the BBC and as a representative of the International Monetary Fund in the Caribbean. He is a professor of Science, Technology and Sociology at IQS and he directs and presents the program Redes for TVE.
