Félix G. Modroño worked in the finance sector for over twenty years before dedicating his time exclusively to literature. He is the author of the Doctor Zuñiga detective series as well as the trilogy of novels that pay homage to the city of Bilbao: City of Grey Eyes, City of Sleeping Souls and this latest work, City of Silver Skin (Destino, 2023). In Witches’ Sun (Destino, 2022), he returned to the world of noir fiction, having previously won the Sevilla Athenaeum Award for Secrets of the Sand. Modroño is well loved by readers for his ability to combine a range of genres, and his use of evocative prose to create truly immersive worlds.
