Isabel Olesti (Reus, 1957) is a writer, manager of literary projects and customary press contributor. Her collection of stories Desfici (1988) won the Andròmina prize, and Dibuix de dona amb ocells blancs (1995) the Josep Pla. She’s published the following novels: L’aire groc (1996), El marit invisible (1999), El festí de Nàpols (2002), and the young readers’ novel La muntanya dels secrets (2005). In 2005, she published the biography of various women strongly involved in the civil war: Nou dones i una guerra. Les dones del 36.
