J.M. Martí Font (Mataró, Barcelona, 1950) is a veteran journalist in the international field - ex-correspondent for El País in France and Germany, where he covered the fall of the Berlin Wall - and also in the cultural field, as editor-in-chief of Culture for this same newspaper. A great connoisseur of the United States, where he lived for many years, he is the author of El día que acabó el siglo XX, Después del muro and La España de las ciudades.
