Joan Manuel Soldevilla Albertí (Barcelona, 1964) is a professor of literature at the Instituto Ramon Muntaner in Figueres and a media scholar. He has been a lecturer at the Universitat de Girona and curator of various exhibitions related to the world of comedy and popular literature and has won several prizes and awards in the field of essay and journalism. He is the author, among others, of Abecedario de Tintín (2002), El padre de Carpanta and Zipi y Zape (2005), Capitán Verne - with Maria Mercè Cuartiella - (2005), and Don Quijote en Barcelona.
