Martí Perarnau (Barcelona, 1955) was an athlete and participated in the Moscow Olympic Games in 1980 in the high jump. He then began a journalistic career which brought him to edit the sports sections of several Barcelona newspapers and also that of Spanish Television in Catalonia during a brilliant period for sports. He currently directs his own advertising production company and works as a journalist for several media outlets in Spain and Japan.
