Pilar Rahola i Martínez (Barcelona, 1958) is a Spanish journalist, publisher, writer and former politician. She studied Spanish and Catalan Philology at the University of Barcelona. She has published several books in Spanish and Catalan, is a columnist at La Vanguardia newspaper, collaborated with the Argentinian La Nación and Diario de América in the United States, and contributes to different media. She has published several journalistic essays and the novels El carrer de l’embut (2013) and Mariona (2014), which were a success among readers and critics.
