Rafael Vallbona (Barcelona 1960) is a writer and journalist.
He has written more than fifty books between novels, non-fiction books, poems and travel books. He has been awarded with several prizes, the Amat Piniella Prize, the Nestor Luján Prize for Historical Novel, the Ernest Udina Prize of Journalism, the Columna Jove Prize for YA novels and the Ferran Canyameres Prize for Mistery Novels. His last book, The House on the Border was awarded with the BBVA San Joan Prize for novels in 2017.
He is a regular contributor to the press, radio and television, and he also teaches at the Faculty of Communication Blanquerna.
