Sebastià Portell

Sebastià Portell (Mallorca, 1992) is an author and playwright. His novel The Day David Bowie Died (2016) won the Time Out Barcelona Prize for Creator of the Year. With Catalan LGTBQ Poetry (2018) he offered a journey through non-normative sexual and gender identities in Catalan Poetry. He has taught classes in Creative Writing and LGBT Literature, and since 2017 has been coordinator of the LGTBI section of Time Out Barcelona.
