Goyo is a writer with a complicated past in his family. He’s immersed in the process of writing a new novel based on the story of his family when Lara, his wife, decides to leave him. This destroys him, and in an attempt to get over it, he travels to France with Anton, his father, a self-made man who got rich dealing in contraband and has never managed to connect with his son. The two of them, not really knowing why, go in search of Goyo’s uncle Tomás, who moved to France thirty years ago and hasn’t talked with the family since.
What happened to make these two brothers, who had been inseparable, stop talking to each other?
A journey in search of a past that will confront the protagonist with the truths of his life and the life of his family.
