John Carlin

John Carlin (London, 1956) studied language and literature at Oxford University but his professional vocation has always been linked to journalism. In 1981 he began working for the Buenos Aires Herald, and has been a correspondent in several countries. He settled in Spain in 1998, works for El País and contributes to The Observer and The New York Times. His bestseller, The Human Factor was published in over fifteen countries and made into a film by Clint Eastwood under the title Invictus.
