Ramon Erra Macià

Ramon Erra (Vic, 1966) holds a degree in Political Science. He teaches writing at Barcelona’s Atheneum. In 2001 he won the Rafel Cornellà Prize for his literary portrait of Bohumil Hrabal. His first published work was a YA novel, written with Jordi Martí and entitled Operació gàbies buides (2001). He is the author of the travel book A Bòsnia ens trobarem (2004). His first novel was Desfent el nus del mocador (2008), which won him the QWERTY Prize for best new author in Catalan, and was shortlisted for the Crexells Prize and the Salambó. In 2010 he published the novel Escolta, Volòdia!
