Ricard Solé is a Physicist and Biologist. He is a lecturer and researcher at ICREA, at the university Pompeu Fabra (UPF), and an Associate Professor at the institute of Santa Fe, in the United States. His work has been distinguished with the City of Barcelona and La Vanguardia de la Ciencia awards. His research has been published in The New York Times, Nature and Science. He is the author of the essays Redes complejas (Complex Networks) and Vidas sintéticas (Synthetic Lives).
