Xavier Aliaga is a journalist and an author. He has also been a television scriptwriter. Currently he writes cultural journalism for the Quadern supplement of «El País». He has published the novels Si no ho dic, rebente (2005 Vila de Lloseta Prize) and Els neons de Sodoma (2008, Andròmina Fiction Prize awarded by the Octubre Center for Contemporary Culture), and as a co-author, the nonfiction book Del sueño al poder (1996). Since March 2009 he mantains the blog «Sota la Creueta».
