Laura Calçada Barres is a journalist. She was born in 1988 in Barcelona and graduated in Political Science and Administration at the UAB. She has written for various cultural and general media and has also worked in local radio. For several years, she lived in New York, where she earned a master's degree in Social Journalism from the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism at CUNY. She has spent the last four years working on this memoir that you now hold in your hands.
