Vicent Flor is an editor and cultural manager. With a PhD in sociology and a degree in political science and anthropology, he was curator of the Museu Valencià de la Il-lustració i de la Modernitat (1998-2015) and since 2016 he has directed the Institució Alfons el Magnànim. He is a professor, on leave of absence, at the Universitat de València. This book, The Street Below, winner of the XLIII Joanot Martorell Prize, is his first novel.
