Considered one of the masterpieces of Catalan literature of all time, Solitude tells about the vital and spiritual journey of a woman, Mila, in a rural setting. Contrasting the reality of the valleys and the idealism of high mountains, the protagonist begins a process of self-knowledge which will take her to find in solitude the strength to break the conventions of her daily life.
